THIS JOB REQUIRES ENLISTMENT IN THE U.S. ARMY.
By enlisting into the Army as an Information Technology Specialist, you become a part of a team of Soldiers. As a Soldier you secure your future with a career in the Active Duty Army (full-time) and are able to take advantage of all the benefits that serving in the Army gives you. Soldiers in the Army receive a recurring annual allowance for college, guaranteed healthcare for you that includes family benefits for those with a family, and many more benefits listed below. You gain leadership skills, college credit, and job-security by enlisting into the Army that is hard to find in the civilian sector. This is an entry level position with no experience necessary. Information technology specialists are responsible for maintaining, processing and troubleshooting military computer systems/operations.
Job Duties:
  • Maintenance of networks, hardware and software.
  • Provide customer and network administration services.
  • Construct, edit and test computer programs.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Age - 17 to 34 years old.
  • Education - Current Senior in High School(HS), HS Diploma, GED, GED equivalent, or higher education level completed.
    • Associates and Bachelor’s Degrees (in any major or field) guarantee you an advanced promotion upon joining.
  • Citizenship - U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident.
  • Submit to background and medical screening.
  • Receive a passing score on the ASVAB.

Training:
Job training for an information technology specialist requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 20 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instruction.

Some of the skills you’ll learn are:
  • Use of computer consoles and peripheral equipment.
  • Computer systems concepts.
  • Planning, designing and testing computer systems.

Benefits:
  • Enlistment bonus up to $40,000, varies by job and individual qualifications.
  • Education benefits.
    • Tuition Assistance ($4,000 annually while on active duty).
    • GI Bill (up to $108,000 for 36 months of attending college).
    • Additional living stipend and books stipend available.
  • Paid training (Basic and Advanced).
    • Amount paid for training depends upon the rank in which you enlist.
  • 30 days of paid vacation earned every year starting when you go to Basic Training.
    • Vacation time does not reset every year if you do not take the 30 days in one year.
  • Additional living expenses for those who have dependents.
    • Monthly allowance for food, one set rate.
    • Monthly allowance for housing, varies by location.
  • Various lengths of contracts available from 2 years to 6 years normally.
  • Additional pay allowances based on additional qualifications.
    • Foreign language proficiency (must take a test)( pay is up to $400 for each language you demonstrate proficiency in and can receive up to $1,000 a month).
    • Flight pay and airborne pay.
    • Additional living allowance for high cost of living areas (varies by location and number of dependents).

The Project Manager oversees the construction of one of more projects with annual revenues between $15 million and $40 million. Enhances customer relationships by providing excellent service. Responsible for contract administration, procurement, subcontract awards, scheduling and costing, oversight of project quality and safety, staff oversight and mentoring, all in an effort to minimize risk and to keep focus on Lemoine's Foundations for Successful Execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Construction Management, Engineering, or related curriculum or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in project management, field supervision, or estimating/pre-construction roles for a commercial general contractor or subcontractor.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, project management, estimating, and scheduling software programs.
  • Solid skills in the areas of math, budgeting, financial analysis, as well as excellent teamwork, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
  • Healthcare Experience is required.
