POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Network DeploymentProject Manager is responsible for leading and managing strategic projects with the intent of driving positive sustained results and improving key performance indicators. The candidate will have a strong understanding of networking concepts, proven successful experience implementing process change, with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments, as well as communicate effectively up and down the organizational structure.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Leads, plans and coordinates all aspects of technical projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Manages project initiation activities including identifying contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts and access to existing information as needed.
  • Effectively communicate all project timelines, deliverables, and risks associated with the completion of each projects' objectives.
  • Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical teams, in internal organizations as well as in client and vendor/subcontractor organizations to ensure all project targets and requirements are met.
  • Conducts project closure activities to formalize and communicate the project acceptance, handover documentation and ongoing activities to accountable teams and complete a post-implementation review to identify areas of improvement.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • Project Management Certification strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Technical Project Management with a focus on Networking
  • Must have a solid working knowledge of Networking Concepts
  • Successful history of leading, managing, and implementing impactful process improvement projects.
  • Must be a proven self-starter operating with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple, sometimes competing priorities
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite w/ advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong leadership capabilities along with solid judgement and decision-making skills

Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator is an entry level position which requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills. This position is responsible for providing project oversight and data management support for company projects. He or she interacts in a professional manner with the project team and externally with clients. The Project Coordinator reports directly to the company CEO and COO.
Responsibilities/Tasks:

Project Management Tasks:

  • Oversee and coordinate all project tasks and timelines.
  • Update Microsoft Project on regular basis with timelines and new projects.
  • Set-up new projects in the company project management system.
  • Record activities as required using project management tracking logs.
  • Follow up with programming team on regular basis to determine status and assignments.
  • Perform Quality Control Review of statistical output.

Data Management Tasks:

  • Obtain a working knowledge of the Stat One EDC System in order to
  • Provide demos if requested
  • Provide input on new features or improvements on the system
  • Provide user support to basic system functionality
  • Serve as the Data Manager or back-up Data Manager as requested for client projects.
  • Create and update Data Management documents as requested.
  • Communicate with Data Management clients to determine tasks and timelines.
  • Assist with Database Validation Tasks as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • One (1) year experience with a pharma, biotech, medical device, or CRO preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills both with clients and co-workers.
  • Ability to work in small teams and on projects with condensed timelines.
  • Knowledge of clinical trials.
  • Excellent time and resource management skills.
  • Ability to establish and adhere to deadlines.
  • Understanding of EDC and data management concepts and tasks.
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Currently, Proton has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Project Manager to join our Headquarters team in Raleigh, NC. Under the direction of the IT Operations Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and implementing all planned and approved projects. Through both virtual and in-person communication with clients, the Project Manager must maintain a high level of professionalism and have a passion for project planning, with a solid understanding of IT functions.


Primary Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Implement and research project plans.

  • Develop, plan, design, implement, evaluate, maintain and support enterprise software, hardware, network, and related technology solutions.

  • Coordinate and perform application development testing, installation, deployment, configuration, and user support operations.

  • Troubleshoot complex or escalated issues.

  • Prepare, review, and maintain project and other reports, proposals, plans, licenses, contracts, and other documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with project contracts and applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Occasional local and national travel for project implementations and client on-boardings.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3- 5 years in a Technical Project Management capacity.

  • A passion and desire to jump in and “get things done.”

  • Experience in leading remote resources through the project lifecycle.

  • Experience with Project Management Software (Microsoft Project, Zoho Projects, or similar).

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical solutions to non-technical C-level executives.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Servers lineup of products Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, Microsoft Exchange Server 2013, 2016.

  • A broad range of networking experience (firewall installations, switch and AP installations).

  • Experience in email migrations (O365, Local Exchange, GSuites, etc).

  • You must have a valid license and the daily use of a car.
