A Scottsdale financial firm serving individuals and small to medium size businesses with tax, bookkeeping, accounting, payroll and wealth management services. We are a small firm that is growing and looking for people to grow with us.

Responsibilities include accounting for businesses using various software packages, inputting financial data for tax returns and consulting work and tax preparation for business and individuals.

Job duties include:

  • Working closely with Clients
  • Perform accounts payable including classifying expenses, invoice reconciliation and printing checks
  • Prepare invoices
  • Enter cash receipts
  • Enter deposits
  • Process online banking transactions
  • Reconcile bank accounts (checking, credit cards and lines of credit)
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Prepare financial statements

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Bookkeeping/tax preparation experience (minimum 4 years)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 3 years in Business or Bookkeeping

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,660.00 - $56,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus pay
