This is an opening in the cable assembly area for an MRP controller who specializes in ensuring that materials and resources will be assembled on schedule to meet production flow. This includes cross coordination with the area supervisor and coordinator to meet manufacturing milestones. This position requires an outgoing, driven individual with the ability to form relationships with the assembly technicians, Quality Assurance, the area supervisor, and production control group. This is a high volume manufacturing flow area that requires exquisite attention to detail and the ability to multi-function very well.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.

Must have MRP SAP working knowledge, Office 365 advanced user, relationship building skills, and the ability to integrate effectively into a team.
Desired Skills:
Understanding of material flow, knowledge of product life cycle, Bachelor's degree in supply chain management.

Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Provide continuous attention to customer needs; greet, assist and thank customers in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner.
  • Offer product suggestions when appropriate.
  • Stock and rotate department products to ensure freshness and date control; restock and use supply items efficiently to eliminate waste and to maintain the lowest supply cost.
  • Operate department equipment and tools.
  • Keep work area clean, orderly and free from safety hazards; report faulty equipment and hazards to management.
  • Notify management of team member theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized mark-downs, property defacement or any action that is illegal and/or against company policy.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
  • Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
  • Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
