Your new role
  • Directly report to CEO and communicate very closely with board of committee.
  • Lead and drive the technology team to improve on their application development and provide premium services to their business partners and clients
  • Key person to drive upcoming projects, create roadmap and long-term strategy plans and set budgets.
  • Monitor project status and work together with IT teams, service providers and the stakeholders across functions both internally and externally to ensure the output quality, positive user experience and be accountable for its utilization
  • Evaluate the performance of initiatives and provide reviews of campaigns and trends

What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelor degree or above in related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in insurance industry and Technology area
  • Experience in application server architecture, cloud, and database
  • Solid experience in AI, chatbot, machine learning, program languages
  • Previous Agile implementation methodology to business
  • Pro-active, innovative and commercial mindset, adaptable to continuous change
  • Experience in operating in a fast-paced working environment and be able to work under pressure
  • Good communication in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Entry Requirements:
(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent [See Note (i)];
(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent [See Note (i)];
(c) At least 12 years' relevant post-qualification [as specified in (a) & (b)] teaching experience or education related experience such as school support, school inspection and curriculum development, among which a candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in holding a management position experience [See Note (ii)];
(d) Good command of both English and Chinese;
(e) Good organisation, communication and interpersonal skills;
(f) Awareness of latest development of the curriculum; and
(g) Command strong network with relevant stakeholders, such as School Sponsoring bodies, local experts in the field and counterparts in the Mainland in discharging duties related to the promotion of the Constitution and Basic Law education and national education in schools.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting in a service project for musculoskeletal pain management in old people; (b) conducting individual and group-based exercise therapies for participants; (c) handling research activities, health education and health promotion; (d) providing administrative support for the project team; and (e) performing other tasks as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Physical Therapy or Kinesiology; (ii) relevant post qualification work experience, especially in conducting exercise therapies (e.g. strength and resistance training, yoga, pilates, etc.) (iii) an Instructor Certificate issued by the Physical Fitness Association of Hong Kong; and (iv) good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills. Training in sports medicine, health science or musuloskeletal medicine will be advantageous.

About this role

Cachematrix Liquidity Management platform is single instance multi-tenant software as a service (SaaS) based product. It powers liquidity investment platform of the world’s leading and most innovative financial institutions, including regional and global banks and asset management firms. The platform can be integrated into any core cash management system as a seamless, single sign-on module or operate as a stand-alone system.

Cachematrix Development team is part of the Liquidity management platform software engineering team. It is responsible for delivering quality and cutting edge software products for the Liquidity management platform. The team is responsible for full SDLC from analysis, scope management, planning, execution and delivery. During this exercise, the team collaborates with the business teams, Quality assurance team, and configuration management team. The development activities span five major areas – New product development, new feature development on existing product, maintenance development, new customer implementation and production support. Team members are globally located between Denver and Bangalore.

Role Description:

  • Application/Data Integration Support. Manage issues that arise for financial institution customers in a complex, transaction-based application environment. Communicate and coordinate as necessary with diverse personnel (developers, project managers, business analysts, etc.) to manage the progression of issue resolution.
  • Incident Management. Track and manage incident occurrences in a mission-critical production environment. Categorize and prioritize issues based on customer impact and situation. Escalate issues as needed based on organizational divisions, resource specialization and personnel availability.
  • Customer Support. Monitor business and product support requests via phone and email. Interact with both internal and customer contacts in a direct and professional manner to manage and resolve critical production issues. Must gain a fundamental knowledge of all Cachematrix products and a working understanding of the business principles and processes involved in order to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Data Analysis/Stewardship. Own and manage all application driven data points. Ensure data integrity by performing SQL queries and updates as needed. Troubleshoot data and file-level integration processes when system alerts are received.
  • Operations Support. Assist the Operations team with technical and non-technical projects and initiatives as needed.

Skills and Traits:

  • Technical problem solving experience required.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be intrinsically motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Database, SQL or data stewardship experience preferred. Must have the desire to gain an in-depth understanding of SQL
  • Must have the ability to read and comprehend technical documentation including functional specifications and system design specifications.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a diverse, dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Must have desire and ability to learn quickly.
  • Must have a working knowledge of fundamental IT concepts (e.g. application configuration, server access, user management)
  • Experience working with SWIFT/SWIFTNet applications and processes preferred

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business; or equivalent work experience required.

Our Information Technology Generalist - Practice Support team focuses on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing internal applications, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for PwC to drive strategic business growth.

Protect the confidentiality and integrity of client, staff, and business information in compliance with organization policies and standards. The individual will be responsible for review on system changes and respond to new security threats to internal networks and data. This individual must have the ability to establish working relationships with all staff and client on answering IT related security questions. Some, but not limited to, responsibilities may include:

  • Manage security projects and new security technologies implementation

  • Assist to plan, design and implement appropriate network technological solutions to defend cyber attack and intrusion

  • Providing consultations on enhancing data systems security and system changes on the production environment

  • Formulating security policies, procedures, and standards (such as system hardening standards) for configuration and set-up of network infrastructure for cyber security solutions

  • Preventing, detecting intrusion and responding to security incidents

  • Perform periodic review and audits (e.g. Firewall rule setting, physical security review on data center etc)

  • Perform Information security review and process assurance to upkeep the compliance of the firm


  • Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent;

  • Minimum four years of work experience in Information Technology service industry;

  • At least two years of demonstrable experience in any of the following will be an added advantage: Information Security, Infrastructure and network security review and analysis, Cloud security review, Application security review;

  • Familiar with SAST, DAST, and manual penetration testing tools

  • Proven experience with Cloud Security preferably in the space of Microsoft Azure, as well as Alibaba Cloud in China

  • Deep understanding in cloud security and DevOps technologies , i.e. Kuberenetes, Docker, Jenkins, etc

  • Working experience on Security and Vulnerability Management, Security Incident Management and Investigation, Cybersecurity etc

  • Strong project management skills;

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure;

  • Excellent communication skills in both written and oral English and Chinese;

  • Related qualifications and/or industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM is a must;

  • CCSP, OSCP and other SANS certifications is a plus.
