This market leader already has a strong presence throughout Asia, to further strengthen their market position, this globally recognised Insurance organisation is looking to re-engineer their current product lines throughout Asia Pacific. The organisation is inviting an experienced Regional Manager professional to fulfil the expanding needs of their growth.

Your new role
Working within the APAC Propositions team, your key focus is to oversee all aspects of product, proposition and marketing. You will oversee innovation reviews, APAC campaigns, marketing strategy and product propositions. Working closely with management in Distribution, Operations, Marketing and Sales you will lead strategic product initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed
To ensure your success within this role, you will possess a strong foundation within Product Marketing, Propositions and Marketing. Your 5 years of experience gained within the insurance environment focusing on product development and strategy.

As a pro-active, innovative and commercially minded individual, you will be very familiar with communicating and presenting to senior management.

Customer Success Manager, Trading

Customer Success Managers (CSMs) connect our clients to Refinitiv’s solutions.

As a Customer Success Specialist, you will be responsible for fostering relationships and being a trusted advisor to our Trading Customers who utilize our Trading Desktop & Enterprise Solutions through the customer experience journey. This role focuses primarily on driving adoption, integration and expansion of our solutions into the daily workflow of end-users and ensuring the retention strategy of this group of accounts. You will work mainly with users in the trading space covering mainly buy-side customers.

You will own the Customer Success Plans and the delivery of all agreed upon milestones. You will visit customers and build relationships with key stakeholders and user community to ensure we are delivering a world class customer experience. You will partner with the Account Managers and Sales Leaders to provide insights on customer health to drive retention and growth. Additionally, you will collaborate with Market Development and Customer Proposition to provide the voice of the customer to align customer needs with our product roadmap.


Role Overview

Client Satisfaction

  • Develop and execute the customer success strategy and customer success plan for trading accounts to drive revenue retention

Training Coordination

  • Deliver highly engaging customized workflow-based customer engagements/ training sessions

Relationship Management

  • Build deep relationships with key customer stakeholders to inform engagement strategy and create "Refinitiv advocates"
  • Participate in industry events alongside the team to foster networking, brand presence, and stay up to date on industry trends

Retention and growth

  • Monitor customer health, adoption metrics, renewals and execution of customer success plans
  • Partner with sales leadership to provide insights on customer health with a focus on adoption, expansion opportunities and renewals
  • Provide insights to Market Development, Customer Operations and Customer Proposition on customer experience and industry trends to drive the voice of the customer in business strategy
  • Contribute to overall vision and strategy of the Customer Success Management Group

Your Success

A CSMs success will be measured by:

  • Customer onboarding activities, including various types of trainings/presentations
  • Breadth & depth of customer relationships
  • Retention and risk mitigation management
  • Drive account growth with sales
  • Contributions to role and process improvement

Qualifications/Skills

  • 3-5 years of customer service/ client relationship experience, pre-sales, or trading role in bank or content organization
  • Preferably with knowledge of & experience in FX trading space
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to flex style depending on audience (C-Level/Leadership/Team)
  • Strong track record of identifying customer needs and successfully executing on retention and adaption strategies
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment and rapidly -changing market
  • Proactive and positive attitude that has a “Whatever it Takes” approach to increase customer satisfactions and deepen relationships
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese

Position Summary

This role brings the full value of Refinitiv’s propositions to financial service industry customers, mobilizing Sales & Account Management (SAM) to execute around growth priorities and represent the voice of the customer to advise strategic planning, execution, and investment decisions. You will focus on the Quant & Feeds business, which is one of five sub-propositions under the Investment and Advisory (I&A) business unit. This is a regional role and will work with the global proposition team and the local SAM team to drive the last mile execution and contribution to gross sales.

Effecting translation of the strategy provided by the I&A Proposition Sales Director, the Q&F Proposition Sales Director will ensure the right focus is driven across campaigns aligned to their proposition by working with a team of Proposition Sales within each of the 6 markets in Asia Pacific.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with vision who advocates and articulates strategy into regional financial market communities including customers, industry associations and regulators through meetings and as a speaker at conferences.

Role Responsibilities

Targeted Customer Personas:

  • Asset Managers Utilizing Quant Equity based Investment Strategies
  • Multi-factor Model Construction and Backtesting
  • Sentiment Scoring & Alternative Data
  • Data Scientists at FinTech Firms
  • Index Solutions, including custom index and passive management

Tactical Ownership of SAM Strategy and Execution:

  • Interlock with Regional Proposition Director and global Proposition team to own and drive the proposition strategy that will impact gross sales performance in Asia Pacific.
  • Lead the dotted line reporting of Proposition Sales, leading monthly Proposition Sales community meetings (existing rhythm).
  • Partner to define global proposition priorities by providing deep regional market and customer insight.
  • Share case studies and replicate deals across markets to maintain a hunter mentality within the Sales team.
  • Providing domain expertise by mentoring sub-proposition specialism to Proposition Sales team
  • Driving and tracking learning/certification aligned to this sub-proposition.
  • Drive execution of sales campaigns across the region through the Proposition Sales team
  • Drive last mile execution of regional sales strategy around customer types and workflows.

Cross-functional alignment and communication around customer agenda.

  • Plan and assess readiness of new product launches and product sunsets / migrations.
  • Provide deal support for strategic and/or complex deals.
  • Acting as the standard of domain and product knowledge for Q&F sub-proposition in Asia Pacific.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • University degree, industry qualification e.g. ACI Diploma/CFA/ISMA, post graduate in Business would be a plus
  • 5+ years of proven experience within the Buy-side and Sell-side communities
  • Ability to translate market trends into business plans and execution of these plans
  • Build and Maintain senior and strategic client and industry relationships
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills including influencing at a high level and lead teams and partners to achieve a common objective
  • Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills
  • Languages required should support your regional business
  • Demonstrate a blend of strategic and operational skills
  • Experience operating in a matrix organization, including stakeholder engagement and influencing management
